Swedish Women’s Educational Association Atlanta

Swedish Women's Educational Association Atlanta is a dedicated organization committed to preserving and promoting Swedish culture, tradition, and language within the Atlanta, GA community. Since its establishment in 1996, SWEA Atlanta has grown to approximately 100 members and serves as a vital resource for Swedish and Swedish-speaking women of all ages and professional backgrounds. The organization offers comprehensive programming designed to foster community connection while advancing cultural education and awareness.

SWEA Atlanta organizes a diverse calendar of engaging events and activities tailored to meet the needs of its members. These include educational outings to local Atlanta landmarks, guest speaker presentations featuring experts from Sweden, cultural celebrations such as traditional Swedish crawfish parties and Christmas julbord dinners, movie nights, and book swap gatherings.
